Al Baladi Group to open 400 Go Crispy and Tea Time outlets globally

Qatar’s Al Baladi Holding Group has teamed up with Azerbaijan’s Green Capital Management for a major global expansion of its Go Crispy restaurant and Tea Time café chains.

The project entails opening 400 new branches worldwide – a major step in the company’s strategic marketing plan.

Go Crispy, known for its halal chicken dishes and fast-food options, was first introduced in 2019 by chef Hissa Al Sulaiti.

Tea Time has established itself as one of the largest Qatari café chains, and is known for its signature saffron tea and the unique Karak drink.

The initial phase of the expansion will focus on countries including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, the UK and several European nations, with plans to extend to a total of 27 countries.

Al-Baladi Holding Group chairman Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah said: “We are thrilled to expand our distinctive Qatari brands globally.

“Go Crispy restaurants successfully blend delicious fast food with fresh, nutritious chicken, while Tea Time cafés, with over 100 branches, has already established a global footprint. We are poised to compete in major international markets.

“Our investment partnerships are crucial to our long-term plans for expansion and excellence. Today’s partnership is another step in bringing our successes to new markets, demonstrating our ability to surpass the largest international restaurant chains in quality and service.”

The expansion is expected to not only enhance the growth of Al Baladi’s brands but also generate job opportunities across new markets.

Green Capital Management shareholder Khayal Jibov said: “Both Go Crispy and Tea Time have shown remarkable success in Qatar and beyond, showcasing their competitiveness and exceptional service quality. We are confident this partnership will lead to significant achievements in global markets, including Asia.”

“Al Baladi Group to open 400 Go Crispy and Tea Time outlets globally ” was originally created and published by Verdict Food Service, a GlobalData owned brand.
