The world’s tallest bridge has officially opened and the sweeping views from the skyscraping new landmark are breathtaking in more ways than one.
A safety worker named Mr. Fu, who specializes in bungee jumps and rope swings, described what it’s like to stand on China’s record-breaking Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge while speaking to The Guardian.
“The view from the bridge is fantastic,” he told the outlet of the marvel, which is located in the Guizhou province of Southern China and towers at approximately 2,050 feet. “Beneath the bridge flows the Beipan River, with Huajiang Village nearby and a waterfall as well. It is very exciting – the bridge is very high, and many visitors come.”
He adds that “standing on it yourself” is a “thrilling” feeling as well due to the dizzying height of the bridge.

The bridge doesn’t just boast stunning views of the landscape — there’s also a number of activities offered for thrill-seeking tourists.
Visitors will be able to try out bungee jumping on the bridge, in addition to walking along a glass walkway 1,900 feet in the air. They can also take a high-speed elevator up to the lookout point atop one of the towers to enjoy more impressive views.
One of the highest points of the bridge is also home to a glass cafe called Interstellar Coffee that stands approximately 2,600 feet above the river, per NBC News.
