The incident has been forwarded to Israel Police for further handling, and the circumstances of the Israeli’s entry to Kalkilya are under investigation.
An Israeli was rescued from the area of Kalkilya in the West Bank by Civil Administration officers, the administration said in a Tuesday statement.
After recieving reports of an Israeli citizen wandering the area, the administration said it sent officers to provide protection to the Israeli and transfer them to the appropriate security forces.
The incident has been forwarded to Israel Police for further handling, and the circumstances of the Israeli’s entry to Kalkilya are under investigation.
“The security establishment reiterates that entry into Area A is life-threatening and is prohibited by law,” the statement ended.

Israeli-Jewish women rescued from Jericho
In late January, Walla learned that an Israeli civilian was rescued from Jericho in the West Bank, after being seen walking through Area A, posing a danger to her life.
She was further transferred to the Israeli security forces by Civil Administration forces, who provided her with protection.
A similar incident additionally occurred on December 31, when a 22-year-old Israeli woman was rescued from Jericho.
The Israeli Civil Administration received reports of the woman wandering around the city of Jericho, which is under the control of the Palestinian Authority, and sent officers from the Jericho Coordination and Liaison Directorate to retrieve her.
