A magnitude 4.1 earthquake centered north of Toronto, Canada occurred Tuesday night. We’re getting reports that residents across the WNY region felt shaking, unable to attribute the source. While the epicenter occurred well north of Rochester, a 4+ magnitude earthquake could feasibly still be felt a good distance away from the epicenter.
It is unclear if there are any reports of damage or injuries across Canada at this time.
