A cluster munition hit in the Drom Hasharon Regional Council on Sunday night following an Iranian missile barrage across central Israel, a council spokesperson announced.

There were no casualties in the incident, the spokesperson clarified, noting that emergency responders have been dispatched to the scene.

The Drom Hasharon region is located in central Israel, northeast of Tel Aviv.

Additionally, the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority announced that emergency responders were dispatched to the Petah Tikva area to conduct searches after reports of damage caused by shrapnel following the interceptions.

IFRA said that it searched four sites and found no trapped individuals or any “destruction” at the scenes.

Meanwhile, emergency responders from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah were dispatched to several sites in Israel.

An MDA spokesperson said that there were no known casualties, but a “few people” were injured while en route to shelter, and others were being treated after suffering panic-related symptoms.

An earlier Sunday night barrage targeting northern Israel resulted in an Iranian missile falling inside Lebanon, Israeli media reported.

This is a developing story.
