BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WETM) – A longstanding successful business is helping those in need this holiday season.
R.S. Parker Landscaping, with locations in both Big Flats and Horseheads, is teaming up with The Arctic League to help every local child have a great holiday. We stopped by Parker’s Big Flats location Farm Market on Friday to discuss a unique and giving sale for The Arctic League.
For every Christmas wreath purchased, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to The Arctic League in an effort to reach their ultimate donation goal for children and families. Plus, every Christmas tree that is purchased for over $50 certain proceeds will also be donated to The Arctic League. Just over 100 trees remain but are going fast at both locations, don’t miss your chance to make a difference.
Owner, Randy Parker, says this is the perfect way to help and give back to the community.
“I’m hoping there’s some people out there that are still in need of a tree,” Parker said. “Come out maybe this weekend or next week, pick themselves up a tree and help The Arctic League.”
For Parker, with a business that’s been successful for over 30 years, it means everything to not only serve the region but to thank every customer who is willing to make the holidays that much brighter.
“I’m grateful how the community has supported me and helped my business. I’m gonna try the best that I can to try and give back the best that I can.”
