Phone found at Tel Aviv beach ‘definitely’ belongs to ex-MAG, police source says

Earlier on Friday morning, Tomer-Yerushalmi was released to 10 days of house arrest and forbidden from contacting others involved in the Sde Teiman case.

A phone belonging to former IDF advocate general Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi’s was found by civilians at Hof HaTzuk Beach in Tel Aviv, an Israel Police source told N12 on Friday morning.

The phone was handed over to officers who arrived at the scene.

Tomer-Yerushalmi reportedly gave up the code during her police interrogation, according to Israeli public broadcaster KAN News.

“The device was found, police on their way to the attorney-general,” MK Yitzhak Kreuzer (Otzma Yehudit) posted to X/Twitter following the discovery.

Ex-MAG released to house arrest, banned from contacted others involved in case

Earlier on Friday morning, Tomer-Yerushalmi was released to 10 days of house arrest and forbidden from contacting others involved in the Sde Teiman case.

Tomer-Yerushalmi must also be able to make herself available to Israel Police whenever required, and obtain permission from the police in order to leave her home to meet with her legal team.

The judge denied the press’s request to photograph Tomer-Yerushalmi during the hearing. “The identity of the defendant is known. I understand the importance of media coverage, but there is no reason a photo of the suspect in court needs to be publicized.”

This is a developing story.
