A well-known Israeli model was arrested with three others after a man’s death in Petah Tikva was reclassified from suspected suicide to alleged murder.
Israel Police officers arrested a “well-known Israeli model” and three other suspects on suspicion of involvement in a murder that occurred 10 days ago in Petah Tikva, Israeli media reported on Saturday.
Initially, there was no indication of foul play, and the leading theory was that it was a suicide. The body was sent for autopsy to the National Center of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir.
The four suspects and the victim were at the model’s house when an argument broke out during the evening, Israeli public broadcaster KAN News reported. During the dispute, the victim reportedly jumped from a window and was killed by the fall.
Police investigations led to witness testimonies which caused an investigation that began suspecting a suicide turning into a criminal case investigating an alleged murder following the arrest of the four suspects.
The model, described as being in a state of shock, has no previous criminal record according to her lawyers, Ynet reported.

The victim’s father is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife, Ynet reported.
He attempted to seek time out of prison to attend the victim’s funeral, but was refused, later being allowed to leave for a few hours to attend a shiva mourning ceremony, the report added.
