Tivoli opens new hotel in Belém as third property in Brazil

Minor Hotels’ luxury hospitality brand Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has opened its third property in Brazil, launching the Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará Hotel in Belém, Pará.

This marks the brand’s first hotel in northern Brazil.

The property is situated in the Campina district, with access to key city landmarks such as the Basilica of Nazaré, Estação das Docas, Praça da República, and Ver-o-Peso Market.

The hotel features 176 rooms, including four suites and two Presidential Suites.

The Presidential Suites are located on upper floors, and each suite offers 220m² of space with views over Guajará Bay, a main bedroom with a king-size bed, separate living and dining areas, a bathtub, and a 24-hour butler service.

The property will also feature various dining options and an Anantara Spa offering Thai-inspired treatments, along with a relaxation lounge and a sauna.

Guests can also access a rooftop outdoor pool and a fitness centre.

For events, Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará Hotel provides five meeting and convention spaces capable of hosting up to 500 people. These venues offer natural light and technological support for conferences or smaller gatherings.

The hotel’s location also allows business guests access to government and commercial centres in the city.

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts began operations in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1933 and has since expanded to other markets, including Brazil, China, Italy, Qatar and Spain.

Other Brazilian properties include Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte in Bahia and Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo.

In October 2025, Minor Hotels announced plans to open a Tivoli Hotels & Resorts property in Lecce, Italy, after completing a full renovation.

“Tivoli opens new hotel in Belém as third property in Brazil” was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
