A man has died after being hit by a passing train near Ganot junction, Magen David Adom said on Sunday morning.
The man had been injured by a passing train after falling from a bridge onto the tracks south of the HaHaganah train station in Tel Aviv, causing an hour and a half delay in trains across Israel, Israel Railways said earlier on Sunday.
Israel Railways announced that the trains have returned to full operation after Israel Police allowed partial train movement from southern Tel Aviv, operating with one track instead of two, following the incident.
In a separate incident, six people were injured in a three-vehicle pileup in Rosh Ha’ayin. Magen David Adom personnel treated a 58-year-old man who was seriously wounded, a 45-year-old woman in moderate condition, and four others with minor injuries.
All six were transported to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva for further treatment.

Route 444 near Ben-Shemen closes after truck catches fire
Route 444 heading north in the Ben-Shemen area has been closed to traffic after a truck caught fire, Israel Police said.
Traffic is being diverted from the Gimzo junction to Route 443, according to Ynet.
