A London coroner\u2019s office said Tuesday that the Irish singer Sinead O\u2019Connor died from natural causes.<\/p>\n
Ms. O\u2019Connor, 56, was found dead<\/a> at a residential property in London in July. Shortly afterward, the local coroner announced they would conduct an autopsy of her body. <\/p>\n In a brief statement on Tuesday, the coroner said that \u201cMs. O\u2019Connor died of natural causes.\u201d The coroner said they had \u201ctherefore ceased their involvement in her death.\u201d No further details were given about the cause of death.<\/p>\n Best known for her rendition of Prince\u2019s \u201cNothing Compares 2 U,\u201d<\/a> <\/span>Ms. O\u2019Connor became a <\/span>global star in the 1990s \u2014 not just for her music, but for her political provocations, on- and offstage.
