Since we started The Amplifier \u2014 gasp \u2014 almost a year ago now<\/a>, there is one question I\u2019ve been asked over and over (and over): \u201cWhen are you going to start putting your playlists on Apple Music?\u201d<\/strong> If you are one of those many people who inquired, I have great news: That day has finally arrived.<\/p>\n Starting with today\u2019s Amplifier, we\u2019ll be including links to stream our playlists with either Spotify<\/a><\/strong> or Apple Music<\/a><\/strong>, <\/strong>in addition to YouTube links to individual songs. And while I\u2019m at it, I\u2019ll respond to a few of our other most frequently asked questions to make sure you can hear the music.<\/p>\n Where do I find the new Amplifier playlist each Tuesday and Friday?<\/strong><\/p>\n There\u2019s a main playlist on both Spotify<\/a> and now Apple Music<\/a> that we fill with the new songs every time we send out a new Amplifier. So you can always click there and find the latest edition.<\/p>\n How can I listen to an older Amplifier playlist?<\/strong><\/p>\n We archive all of our previous playlists on the streaming services, too. You can find them by accessing The New York Times account page on either Spotify<\/a> or Apple Music<\/a>. (We\u2019ve added the 10 most recent Amplifier playlists to our Apple Music account page and will continue to archive the older ones throughout the next few weeks.) If you\u2019d like to read a previous send and can\u2019t find it in your inbox, all of them are on the Times website<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n What if I don\u2019t subscribe to either Spotify or Apple Music?<\/strong><\/p>\n Don\u2019t fret! Spotify features a free, ad-supported tier that allows you to listen to playlists once you make an account. Apple Music also offers a one-month free trial. Plus, as always, we\u2019ll continue to post YouTube links to every song we mention.<\/p>\n Also, about Tuesday\u2019s playlist \u2026 how could you possibly put together a mix of whistling songs without <\/strong>noted whistler<\/a><\/strong> Andrew Bird?!<\/strong><\/p>\n OK, admittedly this one isn\u2019t a general Amplifier FAQ, but quite a few of you asked regardless!
