Beyonc\u00e9 received <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/11\/24\/arts\/music\/grammy-awards-nominations.html\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">six nominations<\/a> for her work on \u201cBlack Is King\u201d in 2021. (She won two for the film, which helped give her <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/03\/14\/arts\/music\/beyonce-megan-thee-stallion-grammys.html\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the record<\/a> for most Grammy wins by a female artist.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">In 2002, the LP accompanying \u201cO Brother, Where Art Thou?\u201d won album of the year, a feat previously achieved by \u201cThe Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album\u201d in 1994, \u201cSaturday Night Fever\u201d in 1979 and \u201cThe Music From Peter Gunn\u201d in 1959. \u201cThe Graduate\u201d and \u201cThe Bodyguard\u201d produced record of the year winners in \u201cMrs. Robinson\u201d and \u201cI Will Always Love You.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Yet the \u201cBarbie\u201d soundtrack is unique in featuring so many artists who seemed to intuitively grasp the movie\u2019s candy-colored aesthetic and range of sincere moods, ranging from the forlorn to the celebratory.
