Chance Perdomo, the British actor known for his roles in the series \u201cGen V\u201d and \u201cChilling Adventures of Sabrina,\u201d died on Friday. He was 27.<\/p>\n
Mr. Perdomo died in a motorcycle accident, Larissa Saenz, a representative for him, confirmed in a statement on Saturday. The statement said that the \u201cauthorities have advised that no other individuals were involved.\u201d It was not immediately clear where the accident happened.<\/p>\n
Mr. Perdomo played the pansexual warlock Ambrose Spellman<\/a> in the Netflix series \u201cChilling Adventures of Sabrina\u201d and Andre Anderson<\/a>, a superhuman with magnetic manipulation abilities, in \u201cThe Boys\u201d spinoff series \u201cGen V.\u201d<\/p>\n He was born on Oct. 20, 1996, according to his representative, in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, England. Details on survivors were not immediately available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Mr. Perdomo had described himself as \u201ca Black child raised by a Latino mother in a white society with two nationalities.\u201d<\/p>\n He landed a small part on an episode of \u201cHetty Feather,\u201d a British children\u2019s drama set in the Victorian era, after graduating from Peter Symonds College in Winchester, where one of his majors was theater.<\/p>\n He told The New York Times<\/a> in 2020 that although the role was \u201cone or two lines,\u201d it was enough \u201cto take that leap of faith\u201d and pursue acting full time.<\/p>\n Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television said in a statement<\/a> posted to a \u201cGen V\u201d social media account that they were \u201cdevastated\u201d by the news of Mr. Perdomo\u2019s death.<\/p>\n The account also shared a statement from the producers of \u201cGen V\u201d in which they said they \u201ccan\u2019t quite wrap our heads around this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cEven writing about him in the past tense doesn\u2019t make sense,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n Variety reported<\/a> that production on the second season of \u201cGen V\u201d had been \u201cdelayed indefinitely\u201d after the news of Mr. Perdomo\u2019s death.<\/p>\n In Britain, Mr. Perdomo was known for starring in \u201cKilled by My Debt<\/a>,\u201d a television movie based on the true story of a young courier who dies by suicide after two traffic tickets grow into a crushing debt.<\/p>\n
