(Kyodo News via AP, File)<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>TOKYO (AP) \u2014 Japan said Sunday its experts have held talks with their Chinese counterparts to try to assuage Beijing\u2019s concerns over the discharge of treated radioactive wastewater from the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the sea.<\/p>\n<p>The discharges have been opposed by fishing groups and neighboring countries especially <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/japan-fukushima-nuclear-radioactive-water-release-04d2423accd508e57afcd9e1eb6714ab\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:China, which banned all imports of Japanese seafood;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">China, which banned all imports of Japanese seafood<\/a>.
