Tom Holland<\/a> is ready to slip back into his Spidey suit when the time comes! The 27-year-old British actor hasn’t appeared as Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-Man) since 2021’s <\/span>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/span><\/em>, but the subject of a fourth film within his version of the franchise is not off the table.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “The simple answer is that I\u2019ll always want to do\u00a0<\/span>Spider-Man<\/span><\/i>\u00a0films,” Tom tells\u00a0<\/span>Deadline<\/em><\/a>. “I owe my life and career to\u00a0<\/span>Spider-Man<\/span><\/i>. So the simple answer is yes. I\u2019ll always want to do more.”<\/span><\/p>\n Noting that for the first time he is “part of the creative” process early on, Holland notes that he has been “watching and learning.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Everyone wants it to happen. But we want to make sure we\u2019re not overdoing the same things,” he shares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>No Way Home<\/span><\/em>, Holland’s iteration of Peter comes into direct contact with past Peters in the form of <\/span>Tobey Maguire<\/a> and <\/span>Andrew Garfield<\/a>, returning to the iconic role.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Holland is confident that the right team is in place for a fourth <\/span>Spider-Man<\/span><\/em> movie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “We have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until we\u2019ve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect,” he says. “The third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.”<\/span><\/p>\n Holland first appeared as Spider-Man in 2016’s\u00a0<\/span>Captain America: Civil War<\/span><\/i>. He went on to play the web slinger in 2017’s\u00a0<\/span>Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/span><\/i>\u00a0where he met his real-life girlfriend, Zendaya, who plays his love interest, Michelle “MJ.” The duo also appeared in 2018’s\u00a0<\/span>Avengers: Infinity War,<\/span><\/i>\u00a02019’s\u00a0<\/span>Avengers: Endgame<\/span><\/i>, and 2019’s\u00a0<\/span>Spider-Man: Far From Home <\/span><\/i>before 2021’s <\/span>No Way Home.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n In late <\/span>2023, Holland told <\/a>Collider<\/a> <\/span><\/em>that he feels “very protective” of the character.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I won’t make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth the while of the character,” he shared.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Holland has been all about supporting Zendaya amid the press tour for her new tennis drama,\u00a0<\/span>Challengers<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n ET recently caught up<\/a> with the<\/span>\u00a0Euphoria<\/span><\/i>\u00a0star about what it means to have Holland’s support throughout a busy press season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “It’s great. I mean, I feel so lucky.
