Jennifer Connelly<\/a>\u00a0is ready for\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun 3<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When ET’s Nischelle Turner spoke to the actress at the <\/span>Dark Matter<\/span><\/em>\u00a0premiere in Los Angeles on Monday,\u00a0Connelly — who played Penny in\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun 2 —<\/span><\/em>\u00a0revealed that she’s on board to return to the franchise for a third movie.<\/span><\/p>\n “I’ll be there. I’m ready,” she said, before noting of\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun: Maverick<\/em><\/a>, “We had such a great time shooting it. It was fun.”<\/span><\/p>\n While she’s ready to reunite with <\/span>Tom Cruise<\/a>, <\/span>Glen Powell<\/a>, <\/span>Miles Teller<\/a> and other\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun<\/span><\/em>\u00a0stars, Connelly, 53, noted that she hasn’t seen a script for the third film just yet.<\/span><\/p>\n “I haven’t seen anything,” she said. “I had a casual chat with my friend, Joe Kosinski, who directed it, who I worked with twice now. I’m his biggest fan. I think he’s so great. [I talked to him] about the possibility of it, but I don’t know anything concrete.”<\/span><\/p>\n Connelly’s comments come more than four months after\u00a0<\/span>Puck News\u00a0<\/em>reported<\/a> that\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun 3\u00a0<\/span><\/em>was in the works with Cruise, Powell and Teller returning.<\/span><\/p>\n
