Who says exes can’t be friends?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Christina Hall<\/a> and <\/span>Tarek El Moussa<\/a> are reuniting for a new TV show on HGTV that follows their massively successful series, <\/span>Flip or Flop<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n According to the network, Tarek, 42, and Christina, 40, are teaming back up along with their respective new spouses — <\/span>Selling Sunset<\/span><\/em> star <\/span>Heather Rae El Moussa<\/a> and <\/span>Josh Hall<\/a>\u00a0— to go head to head in a new flipping competition program, <\/span>The Flip Off<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n HGTV shares that the premise of the show — which is set to premiere in early 2025 — follows the couples competing to “see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, and the chance at bragging rights.”<\/span><\/p>\n The Flip Off<\/span><\/em> comes three years after <\/span>Flip or Flop<\/em> ended its 10-season run<\/a> for the former couple to focus on their personal lives and individual shows. At the time, the HGTV personalities were starring in\u00a0<\/span>Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Christina on the Coast<\/span><\/em>, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n Tarek’s show wrapped its third season in December while Christina recently finished shooting a new season of<\/span> Christina in the Country <\/span><\/em>and received a season 4 renewal for <\/span>Christina on the Coast.<\/span><\/em> Additionally, Tarek and Heather, 36, have a show called T<\/span>he Flipping El Moussas <\/span><\/em>which was also recently renewed for another season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Tarek married<\/a>\u00a0the Oppenheim Group real estate agent in 2021 and in February 2023, the pair <\/span>welcomed a son<\/a>, Tristan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Following her divorce from Tarek, Christina married <\/span>Ant Anstead<\/a> in 2018 and <\/span>gave birth to a baby boy<\/a> of her own, Hudson, in 2019. She and Anstead divorced in 2021, however. In 2022, <\/span>Christina remarried<\/a> and has been living in wedded bliss with Josh — a 43-year-old real estate agent — since.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Tarek and Christina finalized their divorce in 2018 after very publicly splitting in December 2016. The pair married in 2009 and welcomed two children together, 13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Brayden, during their relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The announcement of the new show comes just hours after Tarek — alongside his ex-wife and current partner — teased something to come in a <\/span>hilarious video poking fun<\/a>\u00a0at fans who get Heather and Christina confused.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The video features Heather and Christina side by side, playfully introducing themselves using each other’s names, clad in matching black tops and ripped blue jeans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Must be all that bleach,” Christina quips as her ex chimes in, “Well, I guess it is confusing.”<\/span><\/p>\n When the couple made the decision to end their show back in 2022, Christina indicated that after dozens of renovations and properties sold together, both married and separated, it was<\/span> time to step away<\/a> in order to rediscover her love of flipping on her own.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I have something I want to talk to you about,” Christina — who was engaged to Josh at the time — told Tarek. “I feel like it’s not really fair to you or myself to continue house flipping with you.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Have you really thought about this?” he asked her in one of the final episodes of the show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I’ve thought about it a lot,” she replied.\u00a0“I thought about it more on the last trip to Tennessee and I think it’s what’s best. I can’t be at these houses for you like I should. It’s been an amazing run.
