Amanda Knox<\/a> is set to return to a familiar Italian courtroom – this time to face slander allegations.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old American<\/a> will return to court<\/a> on Wednesday for wrongly accusing a Congolese bar owner<\/a> of murdering her roommate Meredith Kercher,<\/a> while the young women were exchange students in Italy<\/a>. The case featured multiple convictions, and appeals, and instantly became a high-profile case spreading across the globe.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn June 5th, I will walk into the very same courtroom where I was reconvicted of a crime I didn\u2019t commit, this time to defend myself yet again,\u201d she wrote in a post on X on Monday.<\/p>\n
