Stewart wasn\u2019t in the best of spirits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Things started out strong: \u201cBoth men are ambulatory. They are both upright. Level one cleared,\u201d Stewart joked over a clip of the candidates taking the stage. But it wasn\u2019t long before the host said he needed \u201cto call a real estate agent in New Zealand.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"css-ew4tgv\" aria-label=\"companion column\"\/><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">One rambling Biden answer \u2014 ending with the non sequitur \u201cWe finally beat Medicare\u201d \u2014 had Stewart staring into the camera in horror.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"css-1ggt3fz etf134l0\">\n<p class=\"css-12wzsk6 evys1bk0\">\u201cOK, a high-pressure situation. A lot of times, you can confuse saving Medicare with beating it. I\u2019m sure it\u2019s not something that repeated throughout the debate, causing Democrats across the country to either jump out of windows or vomit silently into the nearest recycling bin. Anybody can <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">[expletive]<\/em> up talking.\u201d <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">\u2014 JON STEWART<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12wzsk6 evys1bk0\">\u201cI\u2019m not a political expert, but while Biden was preparing at Camp David \u2014 for a week \u2014 did anyone mention he would also be on camera?\u201d <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">\u2014 JON STEWART<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12wzsk6 evys1bk0\">\u201cA lot of people have resting 25th Amendment face.\u201d <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">\u2014 JON STEWART<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Stewart also called out Trump for his many falsehoods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cJust so we\u2019re all clear, everything that Donald Trump said in that clip is a lie,\u201d he said after one montage. \u201cBlatant and full. And we were tight on time putting this <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">[expletive]<\/em> together. There\u2019s plenty more. Really makes you wonder: What\u2019s R.F.K. Jr. doing tonight?\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"css-1ggt3fz etf134l0\">\n<p class=\"css-12wzsk6 evys1bk0\">\u201cLet me just say after watching tonight\u2019s debate, both of these men should be using performance-enhancing drugs, as much of it as they can get, as many times a day as their bodies will allow.
