Brad Pitt<\/a> is a bona fide Formula One fan!<\/span><\/p>\n On Friday, Apple Studios announced that Pitt’s highly anticipated race car film will\u00a0be called <\/span>F1 <\/span><\/em>and will hit theaters in the U.S. on\u00a0June 27, 2025. They\u00a0also released the first poster for the movie, which reunites\u00a0<\/span>Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>‘s<\/a>\u00a0director\u00a0Joseph Kosinski, writer\u00a0Ehren Kruger\u00a0and producer\u00a0Jerry Bruckheimer.<\/span><\/p>\n The news comes after the 60-year-old actor attended the British Grand Prix for the <\/span>second year in a row<\/a> on Thursday, taking in the races from the paddock at the\u00a0Silverstone Circuit in Northampton, England.<\/span><\/p>\n Pitt was properly attired for the appearance in a white racing suit and black vest. He donned sunglasses as he smiled and waved to onlookers.<\/span><\/p>\n It appears that Pitt’s attendance at the race is related to <\/span>his upcoming F1 movie<\/a>, as the actor was also seen walking through a door labeled “Cast Green Room.”<\/span><\/p>\n Pitt and Damson Idris <\/span>were photographed filming scenes at last year’s British Grand Prix<\/a> for the upcoming film, which is being produced in collaboration with F1 and shot in and around actual Grand Prix weekends, giving fans a firsthand look at all the action.<\/span><\/p>\n In the high-octane feature, Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes — <\/span>according to set pics<\/a> showing his character’s garage — a retired driver who returns to F1 racing in order to help train a young upcoming star, played by Idris.<\/span><\/p>\n A major F1 fan in real life, Pitt was previously\u00a0<\/span>spotted enjoying himself<\/a>\u00a0at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October 2022, where he chatted with Formula One star driver Lewis Hamilton and Apple CEO Tim Cook.<\/span><\/p>\n RELATED CONTENT:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
