Anna Faris<\/a> has fond memories of <\/span>Matthew Perry<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The 47-year-old actress opens up about working alongside the late actor on the final season of <\/span>Friends<\/em><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Faris\u00a0appeared in a four-episode arc as Erica, a woman giving birth to the twins Perry’s Chandler and Courteney Cox’s Monica would end up adopting, on the series in 2004.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “It was an honor and he was just an incredible person,” Faris tells <\/span>People<\/em><\/a>\u00a0while promoting her latest project, <\/span>My Spy The Eternal City<\/span><\/em>. “I wish I knew him better. It feels a little audacious for me to speak too much about somebody that I felt like I had brief interactions with, but they were wonderful and I am honored to be a part of the show.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Faris notes that she was of the understanding that Perry had suggested her for the role.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “He told me that he’d seen me in <\/span>Lost in Translation<\/span><\/em> and he thought I was good,” she shares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I worked mostly with Courteney and Matthew, and they were unbelievable to me. They were so kind,” she adds. “I mean, it was such an intimidating idea. I mean, to give birth on\u00a0<\/span>Friends<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span>Friends<\/span><\/em>? The final season?”<\/span><\/p>\n While the role was undoubtedly a huge opportunity, Faris jokes that it didn’t prove financially lucrative in the long run.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “They don’t rerun too much of the last season because I think I get a check for 9 cents every, you know, four months,” she cracked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Perry died<\/a>\u00a0at his Los Angeles home on Oct. 28 at the age of 54.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Just last month, <\/span>Friends <\/span><\/em>co-star <\/span>Lisa Kudrow<\/a> admitted that she <\/span>has been re-watching the series<\/a> in his honor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Honestly, I wasn\u2019t able to watch it because it’s too embarrassing to watch yourself. But if I make it about Matthew, then that’s OK,” Kudrow told \u00a0<\/span>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>. “And it’s just celebrating how hilarious he was \u2014 and that is what I want to remember [about him].”<\/span><\/p>\n Before that,\u00a0<\/span>Jennifer Aniston talked to ET<\/a>\u00a0in January about how fans can honor Perry’s legacy.<\/span><\/p>\n “Celebrate him,” she said, smiling in remembrance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n RELATED CONTENT:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
