Chris Kirkpatrick<\/a> is keeping hope alive for a future\u00a0<\/span>*NSYNC<\/a> reunion.<\/span><\/p>\n The singer, 52, walked the carpet at the New York premiere of <\/span>Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a>\u00a0at the David H. Koch Theater in NYC on Monday, where he spoke with ET’s Rachel Smith about where plans stand in regard to\u00a0*NSYNC releasing new music and even potentially going on tour at some point.<\/span><\/p>\n “Well, we’ve been talking about it for a while,” Kirkpatrick said. “We’re kicking the tires, seeing if the car will still drive, and, you know, we’ll see where it leads.”<\/span><\/p>\n Kirkpatrick and his fellow bandmates — including <\/span>Justin Timberlake<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>JC Chasez<\/a>, <\/span>Lance Bass<\/a> and <\/span>Joey Fatone<\/a> — <\/span>reunited last year for a new original song<\/a> on the soundtrack for Timberlake’s film,\u00a0<\/span>Trolls Band Together<\/span><\/em>. This got fans clamoring for a reunion with renewed enthusiasm.<\/span><\/p>\n Then, in March, <\/span>Timberlake was joined onstage by his former bandmates<\/a> during a stop on his Forget the World Tour, and they collaborated on the track “Paradise” off his latest album,\u00a0<\/span>Everything I Thought It Was<\/em><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n “Hopefully, you know, we’re all kind of in agreement that, moving forward, our fanbase and a lot of people, still want this,” Kirkpatrick continued. “So we can’t disappoint them. So it’s not a positive, but it’s a we’ll see.”<\/span><\/p>\n Recalling his on-stage reunion with the band earlier this year, Kirkpatrick shared, “I was smiling the whole time! I’m like, ‘I miss this so much!’ … Those guys are great.”<\/span><\/p>\n Kirkpartrick was one of several members of *NSYNC who came out for Monday’s premiere celebrating <\/span>Deadpool & Wolverine<\/span><\/em> — which <\/span>actually features the band’s iconic hit<\/a>, “Bye Bye Bye,” on the soundtrack.<\/span><\/p>\n “When we got the call, like, we sign off on a lot of stuff for the songs and it’s like, ‘Oh, sign off for this, sign off for this,’ I saw <\/span>Deadpool <\/span><\/em>and\u00a0right away and I was like, ‘I will outvote everybody in this band! That this song will be in it,'” Kirkpatrick said.<\/span><\/p>\n “It didn’t matter what they were gonna vote! I outvote them anyways, I can kick all their asses,” he joked, adding, “But, of course, we did [want it in the movie].”<\/span><\/p>\n
