Sofia Vergara<\/a> is living her life to the fullest, and enjoying spending time with the people that mean the most to her.<\/span><\/p>\n The Emmy-nominated actress <\/span>and America’s Got Talent<\/em> judge<\/a> walked the carpet after the first live show of season 19 on Tuesday, and she spoke with ET’s Denny Directo about <\/span>her special man,\u00a0Dr. Justin Saliman<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n While Vergara admitted that it’s still “too soon to tell” exactly why their relationship works so well for them, the actress said she’s having a great time — as evidenced by her <\/span>recent trip to Italy, where she was joined by Saliman<\/a>, last month.<\/span><\/p>\n “I’m enjoying life, I’m so grateful to the people around me,” Vergara, 52, shared with a smile. “I’m grateful for summer, for the nomination, and now just for <\/span>AGT<\/span><\/em>. I’m excited to see Simon, Heidi, all of them!”<\/span><\/p>\n Vergara walked the carpet alongside her fellow <\/span>AGT <\/span><\/em>stars — judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, as well as host Terry Crews.<\/span><\/p>\n Vergara also opened up about <\/span>her history-making Emmy nomination for her role in Griselda<\/em><\/a>,<\/span><\/em> and the actress said she really appreciates the support and recognition.<\/span><\/p>\n “I am so thankful, because, you know, it was a lot of work and it was something that was so new for me,” Vergara shared. “I thought the show was gonna get nominated, I wasn’t expecting a nomination for me, so I’m very thankful.”<\/span><\/p>\n As for her burgeoning romance with Saliman, the <\/span>Modern Family<\/span><\/em> star was first spotted on a date with\u00a0Saliman back in October. She\u00a0stunned in a black corset, purple suede pants, and black heels while heading out to dinner with her beau in Beverly Hills.<\/span><\/p>\n Their romance comes after Vergara and her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello,\u00a0<\/span>announced they were calling it quits<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0July 2023, after eight years. In April 2024, ET confirmed that the A-list stars\u00a0<\/span>finalized their divorce<\/a>. Vergara was previously married to her high school sweetheart — with whom she shares Manolo. Their marriage ended in 1993 after two years.<\/span><\/p>\n A source spoke with ET in April, and said<\/a>, “Sofia and Dr. Justin Saliman’s relationship has gotten more serious.”<\/span><\/p>\n “They’ve been having a great time together and really enjoy each other’s company,” the source said. “Justin loves Sofia\u2019s enthusiasm, character, sense of humor, and how hardworking she is.\u00a0They love to have fun dinner date nights and have a natural chemistry whether it’s just the two of them out or if they’re with friends, too.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Sofia has moved on from her past relationship and appreciates the lessons she\u2019s learned from it. She is grateful for that experience, but is putting her energy into the future and excited about this new chapter,” the source said. “Sofia and Joe both just want to move on and be happy in their own lives.”<\/span><\/p>\n
