The 25-year-old French forward is accused of rape and sexual molestation during his trip to Stockholm last week.<\/span><\/p>\nMbapp\u00e9 is being investigated on \u201creasonable suspicion\u201d of sexual assault, a charge considered to be on the lower end of the scale in the Swedish justice system.<\/span><\/p>\nThe reporting notes that Mbapp\u00e9 had dinner at Chez Jolie, a restaurant in Stockholm\u2019s upscale \u00d6stermalm district, before heading to a nearby nightclub called \u201cV.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nExpressen<\/em> also revealed from a police report that the alleged sexual assault occurred on Thursday, October 10th. The incident was reported to the police two days later.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cThis is a matter which is now being headed by a prosecutor,\u201d says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl. \u201cI will not comment further but rather refer to the prosecutor\u2019s office.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nHis representatives also told AFP that they are unaware of the allegations and strongly deny the false accusations. Both Mbapp\u00e9 and the complainant are set to be questioned soon, while Real Madrid finds itself in a crisis situation.<\/p>\n
