Instead of passing in order, the second Chiron (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadandtrack.com\/news\/2022-bugatti-chiron-super-sport\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:which seems to be a Super Sport;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">which seems to be a Super Sport<\/a>) in line decides to pull out into the passing lane to pass both the lead Chiron (that one appears to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadandtrack.com\/new-cars\/2021-chiron-pur-sport-pictures-specs-hp-info\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:a Pur Sport;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">a Pur Sport<\/a>) and a truck ahead of them Right as the Super Sport is deep in the blind spot of the lead Bugatti, that Pur Sport moves into the passing lane \u2014 and collides with the other Chiron trying to overtake everyone.<\/p>\n<p>That sets off a chain reaction: the initial passing Bugatti loses control, smashes into the truck they were all trying to pass in the first place, and skids off the road into the ditch. The truck \u2014 an innocent bystander in all of this chaos \u2014 ends up being forced off the road from the collision into a ditch and rolls over.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Chiron that moves into the passing Chiron, it escaped with minor damage from the initial contact. The other Chiron appears badly damaged, however \u2014 indeed, it seems undrivable, as depicted in photos from this <a href=\"https:\/\/tanjaoui.ma\/article\/43215\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Moroccan news agency;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Moroccan news agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This appears to have been a classic, if expensive, case of not checking to see if someone was in your blind spot before moving over.
