(KTAL\/KMSS) \u2013 Monday was the final warm day we will see for awhile. High temperatures were in the low to mid 70s, but a cold front will bring cooler weather for New Year\u2019s Eve and New Year\u2019s Day. Wind will occasionally gust 15 to 20 miles per hour making it a cool afternoon, and a chilly night. Temperatures will be in the low 40s at midnight as we ring in 2025. Highs will be near average with plenty of sunshine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\"><strong>Late week into the weekend:<\/strong> High temperatures will be in the 50s and low 60s for the remainder of the week. There will be a small warming trend over the weekend ahead of a cold front that will bring some showers and storms late Sunday. At this point no winter weather is expected in the Sunday\/Monday timeframe, but highs will plummet into the 40s with even colder wind chill temperatures. Each day next week will be in the 40s with lows in the 20s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">The late week period (January 10th\/11th) could bring a stronger cold front with some precipitation. If this occurs we may need to monitor for winter weather. Given we are over 10 days away, we don\u2019t know any specifics or fine details.
