{"id":40690,"date":"2025-01-10T07:45:37","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T12:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newssprinters.com\/index.php\/world\/germany-to-invest-e400-million-in-upgrading-naval-aviation\/10\/01\/2025\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T07:45:37","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T12:45:37","slug":"germany-to-invest-e400-million-in-upgrading-naval-aviation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newssprinters.com\/index.php\/world\/germany-to-invest-e400-million-in-upgrading-naval-aviation\/10\/01\/2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany to invest \u20ac400 million in upgrading naval aviation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<\/p>\n<div data-article-body=\"true\">\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">Germany plans to invest around \u20ac400 million ($412 million) in new naval aircraft and airbase upgrades, Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced on Friday during a visit to a base on the North Sea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">Pistorius said the investment would turn the Nordholz Naval Airbase, located in the district of Cuxhaven, into the most modern military airfield in Europe over the course of the next decade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">The entire weapon systems for naval aviation are currently being modernized.
