Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has postponed the premiere of her new Netflix show, \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d because of the California wildfires, the streaming service said in a statement on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d is hosted and produced by Meghan, who cooks, gardens and landscapes with different guests in \u201ca heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California.\u201d The show was set to premiere on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
According to Netflix<\/a>, Meghan requested the show\u2019s release be pushed to March 4 because of \u201cthe ongoing devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,\u201d Meghan said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The fires, which broke out on Tuesday, have killed at least 16 people<\/a>, displaced thousands of residents and destroyed entire neighborhoods.<\/p>\n On Friday, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, met with survivors and emergency medical workers<\/a> in Pasadena, where the deadly Eaton fire has been burning in the mountains just north of the city, scorching more than 13,000 acres.<\/p>\n The couple moved to California in 2020 and live in Montecito,<\/a> about a 90-minute drive north of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n All eight episodes of \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d were filmed in Montecito, according to Netflix<\/a>, and feature Meghan hosting, cooking for and chatting with various celebrity friends, including Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, Roy Choi and her \u201cSuits\u201d co-star Abigail Spencer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
