Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Shakira will be among the performers at the 67th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 2.<\/p>\n
Details about this year\u2019s Grammy ceremony have been scant since the Recording Academy, the organization behind the awards, announced last week that it would be moving forward with the show as planned, but refocusing it to raise money for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
The first batch of performers confirms that there will be no shortage of celebrity wattage for the show. Eilish, Carpenter, Roan and Charli XCX \u2014 young women who dominated the pop charts in 2024 \u2014 are each up for awards in the top categories this year<\/a>. Shakira, a three-time Grammy winner, is nominated for best Latin pop album.<\/p>\n The show will also feature the buzzy rapper Doechii; Benson Boone, whose alt-rock song \u201cBeautiful Things\u201d was one of last year\u2019s biggest hits<\/a>; and the singer-songwriters Raye and Teddy Swims \u2014 each, like Carpenter and Roan, a nominee for best new artist. The ceremony will be hosted for a fifth time by Trevor Noah.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n For the music industry, the week leading up to the Grammys is usually a glittery blur of label parties, showcases and fifth-gear schmoozing. This year, the mood may be more somber. Most of the parties have been canceled, and the academy announced a \u201ccondensed\u201d schedule of events, pared down to its annual MusiCares dinner, a fund-raising effort for the Grammys\u2019 flagship charity \u2014 this year it will honor the Grateful Dead, who never won a competitive Grammy \u2014 and the invitation-only gala led by the industry don Clive Davis.<\/p>\n The show will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on CBS, and streamed on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
