(KRON<\/a>) \u2014 A Canadian man will serve two years in prison after he sexually extorted a minor from the East Bay, the Contra Costa County District Attorney\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Fahey of Gulf Island, Canada. He made contact with the victim over social media in 2019.<\/p>\n Fahey requested sexually explicit images of the victim, and the victim complied. He then threatened to release the images unless the victim sent him more photos.<\/p>\n Authorities investigated Fahey\u2019s social media accounts to identify him. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested him at his home in the providence of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2021.
