It’s all eyes on the all-weather this Thursday with Southwell the sole venue as they host a competitive nine-race card, live on Sky Sports Racing…<\/p>\n

1.42 Southwell – Dyrholaey looks a warm order to land feature<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Archie Watson-trained Dyrholaey<\/strong> has an excellent record on the all-weather, winning his first three starts before suffering defeat at Royal Ascot in June. He was narrowly beaten on his return at Wolverhampton last month and will likely be a popular selection in the Weekly \u00a35 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap<\/em> off the same mark.<\/p>\n

Sommelier<\/strong> heads the weights for Marco Botti and Hollie Doyle, but he will need to show more than when well beaten in a pair of decent events in December and his trainer now reaches for the tongue-tie.<\/p>\n

Golden Strike<\/strong> remains capable of better having impressed when claiming a Ripon novice on his penultimate start, while Rohaan<\/strong> is worth a second look off his lowest mark since January 2021.<\/p>\n

1.12 Southwell – Hat-trick seeking Caramay attempts to extend streak<\/strong><\/h3>\n

William Muir and Chris Grassick’s Caramay<\/strong> has been in fine form this winter, winning a remarkable five times in her last eight starts. She overcame trouble in running to land a similar race on her last start and looks capable of following going in again under Joe Leavy in the Weekly \u00a35 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hebridean Nomad<\/strong> has run with plenty of credit in his two handicap starts to date and should be competitive again with his yard in such good form.<\/p>\n

The Bay Warrior<\/strong> still needs to prove he’s as effective at this distance, but he arrives here on the back of a cosy success at this track and remains of interest, despite a 2lb rise in the weights.<\/p>\n

Humble Spark<\/strong> has taken his form to a new level this winter and although he will need to improve again, as he steps back up in grade, he can’t be dismissed lightly.<\/p>\n

12.12 Southwell – Wolverhampton winner Rosenpur fancied to double up<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jenny Candlish’s Rosenpur<\/strong> lines up in the Free Bets With BetUK Bet Club Apprentice Handicap <\/em>and looks to try and enhance his admirably consistent record this winter. He got off the mark when comfortably landing a Wolverhampton novice earlier this month and looks the type to step forward on just his third start over the minimum trip, with Joe Leavy looking a positive booking.<\/p>\n

Doddie’s Impact<\/strong> would have claims on his taking success at Newcastle last month but must bounce back from a heavy defeat last time, while Show Me Show Me<\/strong>‘s recent second over this course and distance makes him an each-way player.<\/p>\n

Best of the rest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

12.42 Southwell – <\/strong>James <\/strong>Tate’s Noble Victory debuts under Hector Crouch<\/p>\n

The well-related Noble Victory<\/strong> is set to make his racecourse debut in the BetUK. Its Where The UK Bets Restricted Maiden Stakes <\/em>and may not need to set the world alight to be competitive here. The Saeed Manana-owned colt is out of a Listed-placed sprinter and a half to the very useful Jungle Cove and Main Desire, so there’s plenty of reason to think he can make an impact first time up.<\/p>\n

2.42 Southwell – <\/strong>Cloch Nua bids to make it three from three in 2025<\/p>\n

Stella Barclay’s six-year-old Cloch Nua<\/strong> seems to have found a renewed lease of life in 2025, doubling his lifetime tally with two smart performances over the straight mile at Newcastle. He looks to make it a hat-trick in the Boost Your Acca At BetMGM Classified Stakes<\/em> and although this test asks for more of him, you couldn’t rule out another big run.<\/p>\n
