Online<\/a><\/p>\n The lone survivor of the Air India plane crash has spoken out.<\/span><\/p>\n Hours after <\/span>Vishwash Kumar Ramesh<\/strong><\/a> walked away from the London-bound flight AI171 that <\/span>crashed down June 12<\/span><\/a> in the Indian city of Ahmedabad and killed all other members onboard, the British national shared his experience of the moments before the tragedy, when the plane had just departed the airport.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWithin 30 seconds, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed,\u201d Vishwash told <\/span>The Hindustan Times<\/span><\/em><\/a>. \u201cIt all happened so quickly.”<\/span><\/p>\n The U.K. native, whose brother was also on board the Boeing 787-8 aircraft, detailed his initial observations in the aftermath of the crash as well.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere were bodies all around me, there were pieces of the plane all around me,\u201d Vishwash told local Indian news outlet <\/span>News18<\/span><\/a>. \u201cSomeone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance.”<\/span><\/p>\n According to his surviving brother <\/span>Nayan Kumar Ramesh<\/strong>, per <\/span>Sky News<\/span><\/a>, Vishwash also said immediately after the crash, “I don\u2019t know where my brother is. I don\u2019t see any other passengers. I don\u2019t know how I\u2019m alive, how I exited the plane.” <\/span><\/p>\n More from E! Online<\/strong><\/p>\n Of his own perspective, Nayan added, “This is a miracle that he survived. But what about the other miracle for my other brother?”<\/span><\/p>\n Following the accident, Air India confirmed that the perished passengers included 169 Indian nationals, 52 British nationals, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian national, as well as the 12 crew members on board. <\/span><\/p>\n
