Village heads comprise half of the more than 900 suspected perpetrators (<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/77RM-WQDA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:archived link;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">archived link<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But there have been no official reports of a single-day arrest of 700 village chiefs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Budi Prasetyo, spokesman for the KPK, told AFP on June 20, 2025 the claim that the video shows 700 village chiefs arrested by KPK is &#8220;not true&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pVAKQqO2BE4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:keyword search;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">keyword search<\/a> traced the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@andi.uwais26\/video\/7436305180536212754?q=polda%20sulsel%2021%20tersangka%20korupsi&amp;t=1750404726864\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:footage;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">footage<\/a> to a TikTok post on November 12, 2024 (<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/RGP7-5LMK\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:archived link;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">archived link<\/a>). Its caption includes a link to a <a href=\"https:\/\/mediasulsel.id\/polda-sulsel-tetapkan-21-tersangka-tindak-pidana-korupsi-dengan-total-kerugian-negara-84-miliar\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:news report;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">news report<\/a> about the South Sulawesi police arresting 21 corruption suspects (<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/RB5A-W5SY\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:archived link;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">archived
