The information has not been independently verified.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to medical sources in the Health Ministry, 11 people were killed in an airstrike on the Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza City, near a former school building. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported a higher death toll in the incident and said children were among the dead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Gaza&#8217;s Hamas-controlled civil defence crews reported a further 45 fatalities in additional Israeli attacks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The health ministry in Gaza earlier said 81 people had been killed in the previous 24 hours, including Friday&#8217;s casualties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The latest figures bring the death toll since the start of the war to more than 56,400.
