Russian drones attacks struck several parts of Ukraine overnight, including residential buildings in the southern region of Kherson where eleven people were injured, according to regional governor Olexandr Prokudin.<\/p>\n
A gas pipeline, a petrol station, a car repair shop and private vehicles were also damaged, Prokudin wrote on Telegram.<\/p>\n
In the eastern Ukrainian city of Chuhuiv, at least three people were injured in a drone attack, including a twelve-year-old boy, military governor Oleh Synegubov posted on Telegram. Two people were also injured in the city of Kupjansk, he added.<\/p>\n
Further reports of anti-aircraft fire emerged from Kiev in the evening and during the night. Media reported that a number of people sought refuge in underground railway shafts and other shelters.<\/p>\n
Air raid sirens sounded in large parts of the country, including in the northern Sumy region, Donetsk and Kharkiv in the east and Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya in the south-east. No information about damage or casualties was initially available.<\/p>\n
Ukraine, in turn, attacked targets in Russia.<\/p>\n
Enemy drones were intercepted in the Rostov region in southern Russia and in the Smolensk region south-west of Moscow, according to official reports.<\/p>\n
The claims on neither side could be independently verified.<\/p>\n
