On June 28, 2025, the\u00a0Atlanta Police Department revealed that a big arrest was made at the\u00a0Hartsfield-Jackson\u00a0Atlanta International Airport.<\/p>\n
A post on Facebook<\/a> from the police department revealed they had arrested a man from Brazil who was carrying an estimated amount worth $2.97 million in narcotics.<\/p>\n “On June 28th, 2025, Atlanta’s Airport Customs and Border Protection in conjunction with Atlanta Police Department seized a large amount of THC extracted products \/marijuana from a male flying out of the Atlanta Airport, in route to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Vance Ray Randolph was placed into custody after officers and agents discovered a large number of narcotics in his luggage. Officers seized a total of:12.35 lbs. of THC Wax34.39 lbs. of Hashish4.6 lbs. of Marijuana1.21 lbs. of Pasty Marijuana.”<\/p>\n The Facebook post also showed a video of the police finding the narcotics in the luggage, with several packages being removed and placed into another bag.<\/p>\n Vance Ray Randolph, 22, was then sent to jail and charged with trafficking of marijuana before being released, per USA TODAY<\/a>.<\/p>\n He was trying to head to S\u00e3o Paolo, Brazil, before the drugs were found in his luggage by the officers.<\/p>\n Even though marijuana is legal in various states across the US, Randolph could face other charges once this case goes to court due to the amount<\/a> he was found with.<\/p>\n Related: Snake Catcher Issues Statement After Delayed Flight in Australia<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
