(credit: IDF SPOKESPERSON UNIT)<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Reports from Naeem&#8217;s death surfaced on Sunday, with the IDF confirming his death on Monday through its official channels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/shouts-joy-emily-damari-reacts-005533514.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Damari reacted to the news;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Damari reacted to the news<\/a> of his death with an Instagram post where she thanked Israel&#8217;s security forces, who &#8220;never rest for a moment on behalf of all of us,&#8221; and hoped that good news, including the announcement of the return of the remaining 48 hostages, would come &#8220;sooner than expected.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"mb-4 text-lg font-bold\">Previous killing of other Damari terror captor<\/h3>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/security-forces-kill-terrorist-held-155724297.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Mohammed Nasser Ali Qanita;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mohammed Nasser Ali Qanita<\/a>, another Hamas terrorist who held Damari and the others captive, was confirmed killed by the IDF and Shin Bet in July, following a targeted attack in mid-June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Qanita was a member of Hamas\u2019s military intelligence&#8217;s al-Furqan Battalion.
