Historically called the \u201cfruit and vegetable basket of the Soviet Union,\u201d Moldova retains a strong agricultural tradition and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The new agreement is part of Israel\u2019s \u201cTreat the Wheat\u201d initiative, launched after the 2022 global wheat supply crisis, when Israel faced urgent needs for alternative sources.
