We live in a crazy, mixed-up world<\/a> when a car thief who was stopped<\/a> by regular people is now suing those Good Samaritans. Even better, the guy who was stealing a vehicle but was stopped is reportedly a repeat offender. But he\u2019s apparently the victim<\/a>.<\/p>\n Army football player and his dad rescue a car crash victim.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The car theft was foiled in the inner city portion of Winnipeg in Canada<\/a>. The suspect was trying to steal a vehicle<\/a> parked outside a grocery store when alert staff stopped the guy through physical force. In a lot of parts, that would be considered justified.<\/p>\n But the lawyer who\u2019s representing the car thief said the bystanders used excessive force<\/a>. According to Winnipeg Free Press<\/a>, the man was beaten so badly police simply had to follow the trail of blood back to the guy\u2019s house.<\/p>\n Originally, the suspect was at the grocery store where he stole a jacket. Once the thief got back home, he realized a key fob was inside, so he returned to the scene of the crime to take the vehicle as well.<\/p>\n When he returned, he found the car boxed in by two others. A smart person would\u2019ve realized that was done to keep someone from taking it, because the owner knew his fob had been stolen.<\/p>\n But this criminal mastermind got into the car anyway, setting off the alarm. That\u2019s when the staff members from the store came out and gave the thief a good beating.<\/p>\n We guess this is where you\u2019re supposed to feel sorry for the guy, but we really don\u2019t. Nobody made him steal. We\u2019ve personally been victimized by thieves and know from that firsthand experience they love playing the victim card.<\/p>\n To just top off how great Canada\u2019s justice system has become, the would-be car thief was never charged with a crime.
