Hundreds of people greeted the crew of the Cuauht\u00e9moc before the ship&#8217;s departure from Pier 86 near the Intrepid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It was on May 17 when <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7ny.com\/post\/mexican-navy-ship-hits-brooklyn-bridge-emergency-response-training-boat-nyc\/16453075\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:the ship ran into the Brooklyn Bridge;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">the ship ran into the Brooklyn Bridge<\/a>. Since the Mexican Navy acquired it, 31 generations of officers have graduated from its decks.
