Senior Hamas political bureau member Ghazi Hamad<\/a>, speaking to Al Jazeera from Cairo on Sunday night, accused Israel of \u201cplaying with and changing\u201d the lists of Palestinian prisoners slated for release under the emerging ceasefire-for-hostages deal, and warned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would \u201creturn to aggression<\/a>\u201d in Gaza without sustained international pressure.<\/p>\n He urged Arab states and mediators to \u201crestrain the Zionist madness\u201d and ensure full implementation of the agreement.<\/p>\n Hamad said Hamas was coordinating with Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, and in contact with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), to carry out the exchange \u201cas stated in the agreement,\u201d but alleged that Israeli delays in verifying names on documents sent to the parties were creating obstacles.<\/p>\n He nevertheless said the process was \u201cmoving in a good direction\u201d and that Hamas would \u201cdo everything we can\u201d to make both the prisoner exchange and the wider deal succeed.<\/p>\n His claims came amid mounting disputes over prisoner lists. Israel\u2019s Justice Ministry published<\/a> 250 names of Palestinian prisoners set for release as part of the deal, while Palestinian officials said no final roster had been agreed upon, highlighting ongoing friction over the criteria and sequencing of releases.<\/p>\n
