Leah Williamson, Lauren James and Lauren Hemp are out of England Women’s October friendlies through injury, with Lucy Bronze named in the squad.<\/p>\n

The full-back revealed after the Euro 2025 final that she had been playing with a fractured leg, and only recently returned for Chelsea Women after she fully recovered from the injury.<\/p>\n

Her club teammate, Niamh Charles<\/strong>, is also included after a recent knock, as is Man City Women’s Grace Clinton<\/strong>. In total, 20 of the Euro 2025-winning squad are in the latest 25-player squad.<\/p>\n

Arsenal Women defenders Katie Reid <\/strong>and Taylor Hinds <\/strong>have also earned their first senior call-ups, with Hinds having previously represented Jamaica, with Lucia Kendall<\/strong> also included for the first time.<\/p>\n

Her Aston Villa Women teammate, Missy Bo Kearns<\/strong>, is also back in the Lionesses squad, as is Man City’s Laura Blindkilde Brown. <\/strong><\/p>\n

England play Brazil <\/strong>at the Etihad in Manchester on October 25 before facing Australia <\/strong>the following Tuesday at Pride Park in Derby in their first games since winning the Euro 2025 final in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes the day after Millie Bright<\/strong> announced her retirement from international football,<\/a> having removed herself from selection for the summer tournament.<\/p>\n
