An Uber user in Berlin booking 1,150 rides in one year, a \u20ac117-tip and a beer pong table left behind by a passenger rank among the most curious findings detailed in the US ride-hailing company’s Uber Atlas Germany 2025 released on Monday.<\/p>\n
The report analyses data from the Uber app between September 2024 and September 2025, including reviews of drivers and passengers.<\/p>\n
Passengers were found to be most friendly in the south-western city of Karlsruhe, followed by Freiburg and Nuremberg, also in southern Germany.<\/p>\n
Drivers in the region were also rated most positively, especially in the cities of Landshut, Heidelberg and Freiburg.<\/p>\n
However, passengers were more likely to tip in the northern cities of L\u00fcbeck and Rostock. The highest amount given nationwide was \u20ac117 ($136).<\/p>\n
Passengers in Rostock were also most likely to leave something behind, with mobile phones ranking top among lost items.<\/p>\n
But German Uber users also left behind a beer pong table, an electrical toothbrush, a piercing gun, a riding crop and a serving of fried potatoes.<\/p>\n
The shortest ride was recorded in Munich, lasting only 2 minutes, while the longest was a 680-kilometre trip from Hamburg to Amsterdam, taking more than 8 hours.<\/p>\n
An account in Berlin meanwhile ranked first for rides booked, hailing a ride 1,150 times, according to Uber.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
