Months after Australia’s centre-left Labor Party won an outright majority in national polls, posts falsely claimed former opposition leader Peter Dutton had accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at an international court of buying votes to secure the election victory. Dutton’s Liberal Party told AFP the claim was false, and legal experts pointed out that both the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) would have no jurisdiction over such a dispute.<\/p>\n
