Delegation from Hungary, Austria, Spain and France thanked for support as Israeli branch announced<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> and Transportation Minister Miri Regev met with a visiting delegation of parliamentarians from Hungary, Austria, Spain, and France at the Prime Minister’s Residence.<\/p>\n The group discussed European-Israeli ties and coordination on border security, national identity, and countering antisemitism, according to statements at the meeting.<\/p>\n Netanyahu and Regev thanked the visitors for what they called steadfast support for Israel and solidarity with the Jewish people. Regev also introduced the \u201cPatriots of Jerusalem,\u201d described as the first Israeli branch to join the European Patriots group.<\/p>\n “The Western Judeo-Christian civilization is under attack. This is an effort carried out not by radical Islam alone, but in collaboration with forces which you know well: the deep radical left and the Islamists, who in theory should be rivals, but are united by one thing \u2013 the hatred of Israel<\/a> and the Jews,” Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n “Many countries in Europe were numb; they opened their borders with no supervision whatsoever. Not just for a year or two, this has been a long-term struggle. In this regard, we are not just allies and comrades-in-arms, we are brothers and sisters in the decisive struggle for the future of the world.<\/p>\n “The gravest danger that the world faces is the link between militant Islam and nuclear weapons.”<\/p>\n
