{"id":56824,"date":"2026-02-18T02:05:53","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T07:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newssprinters.com\/index.php\/world\/woman-shares-highs-and-lows-of-cycle-through-africa\/18\/02\/2026\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T02:05:53","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T07:05:53","slug":"woman-shares-highs-and-lows-of-cycle-through-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newssprinters.com\/index.php\/world\/woman-shares-highs-and-lows-of-cycle-through-africa\/18\/02\/2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman shares highs and lows of cycle through Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<\/p>\n<div data-article-body=\"true\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A woman has shared her highs and lows of a &#8220;magical&#8221; cycle across Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Ellie Mitchell-Heggs, 35, flew to Kigali in Rwanda in May to start her 10,000km (6,214 miles) journey to Cape Town in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">During her trip, she was chased by tsetse flies and cycled through blistering hot desert during the dry season.
