A projectile has again struck the site of the Bushehr nuclear power plant, Iran reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated via the state news agency IRNA that no one was injured. There was also no damage to the power plant’s facilities.<\/p>\n
A projectile had already struck the power station site last Tuesday. On that occasion, too, the facility remained undamaged.<\/p>\n
The Bushehr nuclear facility, Iran’s only nuclear power station, is located around 760 kilometres south of Tehran on the Gulf.<\/p>\n
Its Russian-designed reactor has been generating electricity since 2011. The Russian state-owned nuclear company Rosatom is currently building a second reactor unit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
