The procession marks the start of a journey that will take the remains through several cities in Iran and neighbouring Iraq.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The funeral followed a two-day farewell ceremony at Tehran&#8217;s Grand Mosalla, where hundreds of thousands gathered to pay their respects.
