Giribala, a retired judge, would occasionally &#8220;instigate her son to commit mental cruelty on Twisha,&#8221; the document stated, per the BBC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Due to continuous mental cruelty at the hands of both the accused, she was left with no option but to end her life,&#8221; the CBI said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Samarth and Giribala have denied the allegations. The family also said there was conflict between the three after Sharma became pregnant in April.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Samarth and Giribala allegedly accused the model of cheating and &#8220;forced her to undergo an abortion&#8221; in May, per the BBC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Giribala has denied the claim, stating that Sharma wanted the abortion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A second autopsy was requested after Sharma&#8217;s family alleged foul play, per <a data-ylk=\"slk:the Independent;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.the-independent.com\/asia\/india\/twisha-sharma-dowry-death-suicide-cbi-b3035410.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">the Independent<\/a>.
